The hub carries the wheel; the bearing turns inside it.

Shock absorbers

A strut combines the top mount, its bearing, the bump stop, the boot and the damper.
The spring, drawn as a chain line, is an adjacent part.

Braking

The piston pushes the inner pad; the floating caliper pulls the outer pad.
Both pads clamp the disc.
